According to ESPN’s Senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, former Gator Chris Chiozza will soon have a chance to prove his worth in the NBA.
The Houston Rockets are signing Chiozza to a short 10-day contract to see what the former college star can do. As a rookie, Chiozza was previously playing for Jeff Van Gundy in the USA Basketball league.

Many consider the NBA to be one of the most difficult professional sports to stay employed in, due to limited roster spots and fierce competition.
Chris Chiozza is perhaps best remembered for his overtime buzzer beater against Wisconsin that sent Florida to the Elite Eight.
In an unfortunate loss to Arkansas in the SEC tournament during his senior season, Chiozza reached a milestone very few Gators have. He broke the 1,000 point marker with 500 career assists, something only two other Florida basketball players have done (Kasey Hill and Erving Walker).
