The “Steele curtain” is about to rise over Gainesville. Elite 2019 corner Chris Steele has officially joined the Florida Gator roster and the future of DBU looks to be as solid as ever.
His recruitment to Florida was a bit of a wild ride. For quite some time, most experts believed that this elite corner prospect would end up at the University of Southern California. Those experts turned out to be wrong, as Steele is now all Gator.
In high school, Steele served as a lock-down corner at St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California. This means that Steele will travel all of the way across the country to attend the University of Florida.
