It’s official. Florida head coach Dan Mullen has landed his first five-star commitment.
While this commit still has plenty of high school football left to play as part of the 2021 recruiting cycle, Defensive End Bryce Langston looks like a special talent that could make an immediate impact for the Gators.
This five-star playmaker is widely regarded as the best at his position in the entire state of Florida for his recruiting cycle. Gator fans have already seen how effective Defensive Coordinator Todd Grantham’s scheme can be at pressuring quarterbacks. It will be fun to watch what he does with a freak of nature like Langston, who is sure to cause havoc.
Bryce Langston is from Ocala (Fla.) where he attends powerhouse Vanguard High School. He already records great size at 6-foot-3 and 212 pounds, with two more years of high school yet to grow.
Langston committed to Florida over in state rivals Miami and Florida State. He also had early offers from the Tennessee, Arkansas, Cincinnati and Nebraska.
