There is no doubt about it, true freshman Jalon Jones plans to be Florida’s quarterback of the future.
As temperatures dipped into the 30s this week in Gainesville, the young signal caller worked late into the night on his passing game at the UF indoor practice facility.

Could Dan Mullen have landed the next great Gator QB in Jalon Jones?
Jalon looks the part, as he already appears to be the same size as Tim Tebow. To be exact, he checks in at 6’4″ and 203 pounds. Most impressively, he clocks an official time of 4.45 seconds in the 40-yard dash. That is the same speed that Chris Rainey posted at the NFL combine… at the quarterback position.
Some analysts argue that this prospect was underrated throughout his high school career because he attended powerhouse St. Xavier in Maryland, a school notorious for power football and mostly running the ball.
